Aya has been developing her path especially within new and experimental music as well as open creation field. As a solo and guest percussionist, she performs internationally with a number of ensembles and orchestras, including the Lucerne Festival Contemporary Orchestra, Collegium Novum Zürich, Klangforum Wien, New Music Ensemble Katowice (solo percussion - Agata Zubel, Flash for Percussion and Ensemble), Danubia Orchestra (solo percussion - Unsuk Chin, Double Concerto for Piano, Percussion and Ensemble), among others. She has appeared at renown venues and festivals such as the Lucerne Festival, Salzburger Festspiele, Luzerner Theatre, Mullbau, Neubad Luzern, SoundArt Festival Dreilinden, Schauspielhaus Zürich, Tonhalle Zürich, Musée Visionnaire Zürich, Stadtcasino Basel, Don Bosco Basel, International Performance Art Giswil, Künstler Haus Boswil, Berliner Philharmonie, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Budapest Music Center (Peter Eötvös Contemporary Music Foundation), NOSPR Katowice, Holland Festival (Royal Theatre Carré), Muziekgebouw Amsterdam, Theater an der Wien, and more.
