KNOT is a collective of 4 artists working with real-time composition and textuality. The group is composed of a writer, a clarinetist/visual artist/poet, a percussionist/sound artist and a composer/rapper; Our practice is based on electro-acoustic improvisation, spoken poetry, freestyle Chinese rap, field recordings and live-sampling.
KNOT’s performances encompass interrupted reportage and a form of multilingual speculative storytelling, exploring the counterpoint of factual and virtual.
