Reescribiendo el tiempo

The project emerged from fieldwork in Alcorisa, Spain, where 60 hours of audio recordings, visual documentation, and interviews with local residents were collected. Following several Collaborative Experimental Laboratory sessions, the audiovisual performance work was created. A Sound Walk & Recording Workshop with local residents accompanies each performance at its respective location, while sonic materials gathered during the workshops are incorporated into the performance.
During the tour in October 2026, workshops and performances will take place at noef noef Atelier in Luzern, Switzerland, and in Alcañiz and Alcorisa, Spain, also returning to the place where the project began.
Reescribiendo el tiempo is being developed as one of the case studies for Aya’s doctoral dissertation, Rhizome, at the Artistic Research Center, mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.
